Overview

DataFusr is a framework for digital collaboration created by Haskoning. It provides the infrastructure to exchange data in real-time between different software packages, enabling seamless collaboration between multiple design and engineering disciplines on a project.

TIP

Excellent designs are created in an iterative process in which multiple disciplines and organizations seamlessly collaborate to achieve the maximum result. The DataFusr team aims to facilitate all the digital infrastructure required to make this happen.

1. Request Speckle access

Speckle is the data exchange backbone of DataFusr. You need a license before you can use it.

1. Request a Speckle license via WeConnect
2. Once activated, sign in to the Haskoning Speckle server with your Haskoning account

2. Request Rhino & Grasshopper

Rhino (with Grasshopper included) is the primary modelling environment for computational design work.

1. Request Rhino through WeConnect
2. Licenses are managed automatically — check availability at license server

3. Install the DataFusr Manager

The DataFusr Manager lets you install and manage all Haskoning tooling for computational design — including discipline plugins and updates.

1. Download the DataFusr Manager
2. Run the installer (click "More info" → "Run anyway" if prompted by Windows)
3. Use the manager to install discipline-specific toolkits

4. Pick your discipline

Choose your discipline to get access to the domain-specific tooling:
